Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (TTE) intended to be connected to analogue networks are expected to be in the European market for at least the next ten years, but new technologies force them to have shorter and shorter life cycles. Activity Areas

The testing is performed by using the test tool PACT (PSTN Access Conformance Tester), a complete and modern conformance test system, fully developed by AT4 wireless, which includes a wide range of national and European technical regulations for testing analogue terminal equipment (with and without voice features).

PACT is made up of very accurate and wide-range measurement instruments in order to cover most of the existing analogue regulations in the world.

AT4 wireless has designed several testing services in order to ease the testing process, save costs as well as to help customers to fulfil, in terms of verification and control, the national and European legislation. These services are:

Pre-testing

AT4 wireless performs an initial evaluation of the Equipment Under Test (EUT) to overview its status related to the applicable standard/s. The client is informed about the failures, if any, together with the result (numeric/graphic) of the executed test.

Conformance testing

AT4 wireless executes all the test cases and issues the final test report valid for obtaining the final approval. When the standard used is a Common Technical regulation (CTR) AT4 wireless' test reports are valid at European level.

Testing on demand

AT4 wireless' customers have the possibility of hiring the laboratory (technical facilities and engineers expertise) to perform any test. This service allows to make modifications and adjustments to the EUT without time restrictions.
