Control and management system for communication billing
Serviber GF is an IT management application that forms part of the Serviber Platform and enables the user to process, correctly interpret and administrate a company's communication costs.
There are a number of problems associated with the electronic bills that are received by the company from the operator. This is particularly the case for companies with large communication networks that commonly generate high volumes of telephone calls, have numerous geographically disperse offices or branches, hierarchical organisational structures with frequent changes and a complex inventory of communication resources and services with a variety of fixed, mobile and data operators. Serviber GF facilitates combined processing, analysis and distribution by centre of the communication costs shown on the bills received from the operators. This provides a consistent and reliable method which improves budget and accounting control, as well as the management of the catalogue of services and the permanent inventory of communication resources. Serviber GF offers a work philosophy based on the division of the technical functions of bill processing, distribution and verification (administrator) and information (user) There is also an optional analysis module (control panel) and a web application which makes it easy to enter queries and generate reports and graphics showing the telephone costs associated to each centre (companies, branches, cost centres, projects, campaigns, etc.) and by type of services (RTB, RDSI, Mobiles, ADSL, etc.).
Cost control and communication services inventory
- Uploading and processing of bills received in electronic format from operators (landlines, mobile and data).
- Uploading and configuration of the communication services inventory.
- Standardised display and queries for bills per operator and billing period.
- Management of the user organisational structure and cost centres.
- Management of the technologies and types of communication services contracted (start and end dates for services).
- Fixing the criteria and billing distribution process between the different cost centres.
- Joint billing of fixed line, mobile telephone and data costs associated with each cost centre.
- Reports and queries regarding the cost billed against the actual inventory of contracted services, showing any differences with respect to previous periods (high, low, modifications).
- An analysis module and web browser for cost consulting and analysis which can be personalised according to the user company's business model and style guide. This is a billing analysis tool aimed at those responsible for managing the different entities included within the client's organisational structure which provides a graphic and intuitive display of the data, showing different levels of information based on varying criteria and showing developments over the course of time for the elements selected.
Developed using J2EE technology, the Serviber GF is an important management tool for establishing the cost spent on communications. In addition, it simplifies the tasks associated with the analysis and distribution of communication costs and optimises the technical and administrative resources dedicated to this process.
