Platform for Remote Home Assistance
AT4 wireless has developed a special solution for remote home assistance for patients and other remote control requirements. The main advantages of this solution are:
- Includes short and long range communications: GPRS - Bluetooth - ZigBee.
- Increases productivity: facilitating the access of maintenance/control personnel who, by using the necessary access and security policy, are able to supervise the parameters to be monitored whether in patients or buildings.
- Facilitates the roll out of the network: through providing all remote wireless devices (Bluetooth and ZigBee) and connection to a wireless access network (GPRS), the network can be installed in any location, from private homes in rural areas where there are no cabled lines to industrial premises with complex equipment set ups or those requiring expensive cabling, as well as over long distances, in hostile environments, etc.
- It is independent of the user network: in the home the user can continue using their telephone line. In an industrial environment, it is not necessary to integrate it to the client's network thereby preventing confidentiality problems.
