AT4 wireless is the first world-wide WiMAX Forum Designated Certification Laboratory (WFDCL) and is the WiMAX Forum Lead Lab. All the required testing services for obtaining the WiMAX Certification for both Base Station and Subscriber stations are currently available at AT4 wireless' WiMAX Laboratory.
AT4 wireless, Inc., was announced as the first North America-based certification test laboratory by the WiMAX Forum during the opening address at the WiMAX Forum Member Conference in Madrid in June 2007. The lab is located in Herndon, Virginia, easy to access due to its vicinity to the Washington-Dulles International Airport (about 15 minutes by car).

AT4 wireless, Inc., conducts WiMAX Forum Certification Testing and Radiated Performance Testing (RPT). Given that RPT will be introduced as part of certification testing for Mobile WiMAX, AT4 wireless has already installed Over-the-Air Chambers to provide the WiMAX industry with the test facilities and test sets they need.
AT4 wireless is the first location worldwide to offer RPT Testing.
The RPT testing facilities hosted at the AT4 wireless Laboratories in Spain and in the US, can perform both 2-D (polar) and 3-D (spherical) antenna pattern measurements of transmit power and receiver sensitivity for WiMAX terminals devices note books, PCMCIA cards and other terminals with WiMAX.
