On 2nd March 2017, The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan (MIC) announced the release of a public consultation on a partial amendments to the technical regulations applicable to Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in the 700 MHz band in order to introduce requirements for Infrastructure-to-Infrastructure communications equipment , in addition to existing Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure communications.
