Power Matters Alliance has officially recognized AT4 wireless as the first PMA Accredited Certification Laboratory in Europe and Japan

AT4 wireless has been officially accredited by the Power Matters Alliance (PMA) to provide certification testing according to the PMA global certification program, being the first one available in Europe and Japan.

Since wireless charging started to gain market acceptance, the global interoperability among products from different industries plays an increasingly important role. For this reason PMA has created a certification program aimed to establish a global network of seamless wireless charging services wherever portable devices are used.

 

AT4 wireless, CTIA Authorized Test Laboratory in North America, ready to perform OTA testing according to the latest versions of CTIA test plans

AT4 wireless CTIA Authorized Test Laboratory (CATL) in North America has recently extended its CTIA OTA testing capabilities according to the latest version of the CTIA Test Plan for Wireless Device Over-The –Air Performance test plan 3.2.4. released in September 2014, and it is also ready for version 3.3.2 scheduled for November 2014.

RF Antenna Performance impacts directly in the quality of wireless devices as well as in the end-user experience. This is due to the influence of different factors like a human head or hand over the transmitter and the receiver performance.

 

Latest updates in PasspointTM and Wi-Fi Direct®, included in the recent update of AT4 wireless Wi-Fi® certification testing portfolio

AT4 wireless has been qualified by Wi-Fi Alliance® to perform certification testing for the latest updates of two Wi-Fi Alliance programs: Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Passpoint™ and Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Wi-Fi Direct®.

AT4 wireless is proud to announce the extension of its Wi-Fi Alliance Authorized Test Lab scope by adding the recent updates of Passpoint and Wi-Fi Direct certification programs. Passpoint is a Wi-Fi Alliance certification program that has recently added new features including an online sign-up mechanism that improves usability.

AT4 wireless expands its testing capabilities for urban equipment

AT4 wireless is aware of the growing demand according to the latest requirements that regulates public organizations. Currently, the Laboratory offers a full services package to meet the new requirements in this field.

Urban equipment must comply with ever-stricter requirements in safety, durability, strength and stability, according to its features and intended use. AT4 wireless, aware of the importance of environmental testing to comply with these requirements, is continuously extending its services portfolio to meet the needs of this demanding industry.

 

AT4 wireless provides updated testing solutions to the LED lighting industry

AT4 wireless has updated the specific testing solutions provided to the lighting industry, according to the latest changes in the standards for self-ballasted LED lamps  (UNE-EN 62560 and UNE-EN 62612), published by AENOR.

LED lighting technology is in constant evolution, and lighting industry manufacturers are continuously launching into the market new models and technologies based on LED lighting chips.

Indonesia: New Type Approval Regulation.

Canada: E-label is now allowed.

USA: New version of the interim plan to approve some U-NII devices.

Iran: The CRA resumes issuing type approval certificates.

Tonga: Implementation of type approval process.
